Started From The Bottom, Now We're Here

If you don’t know about Nancy Lieberman’s mission to provide safe environments for kids to learn, play, and love the game of basketball, you are missing out! Through Nancy Lieberman Charities, Nancy has built 84 Dream Courts across the country since 2010. We are so proud and grateful that Sport Court is the official surface of Dream Courts. We’ve been able to bring basketball to underprivileged communities for almost ten years.

We were thrilled when Nancy Lieberman Charities teamed up with famed Golden State Warriors player Rick Barry, the City of Oakland’s Parks Department, and Oakland Police Department’s PAL program to bring a Dream Court to Oakland’s Oak Park! AllSport America was able to take a weathered and dilapidated asphalt court into the 21st century thanks to Sport Court PowerGame.

A Grand Ol' Time

The unveiling of the Dream Court was a dream thanks to the legendary Nancy Lieberman and Rick Barry. The young boys present were the proud winners of a local basketball championship. Their reward was meeting two of the greatest basketball players of all time at the brand-new Sport Court game court! Attended by the members of the Oakland Police, the Oakland City Council, and Parks Department, and of course the Nancy Lieberman Foundation, it was a busy event!

After some wise and inspiring words from Rick Barry and Nancy Lieberman for the young basketball stars, the ceremonial red ribbon was cut, and the game was on! With the option to play on two basketball hoops or three paddle tennis courts, there was no shortage of places to play on this Dream Court. While Rick Barry taught future Splash Brothers his underhanded "Granny Shot", Nancy Lieberman schooled on ball spinning! Memories that surely won't be forgotten by anyone in attendance.

As the event was wrapping up, a local kids' summer camp came to play on the Dream Court themselves! And just like that, Oak Park's Dream Court was open to the public for all to enjoy. With almost zero maintenance, unparalleled safety, and a striking design, this court will provide a safe and fun environment for everyone in the neighborhood. Friends and family coming together on this Dream Court in The Town. Sounds like the perfect summer activity to us, wouldn't you agree?

Thanks again to the Nancy Lieberman Foundation for bringing everyone together for this great cause!
